Infokidz Math Club

The Infokidz Math Club is for them who wants to challenge and enhance their Math abilities and expand their interest in Mathematics. Our math club teaches students with advance math concepts and provides support to participate in national and international math contest.

Contest provides a stimulus to begin a career in mathematics, data and computer sciences, artificial intelligence, robotics and take on a lifelong journey to exciting challenges. Students learn and practice problem solving and analytical skills in a fun and supportive environment.

– Gauss Contest Date: May 13th, 2020

– Registration deadline for participating in Gauss Contest: April 19th, 2020

Who can participate?

All students in Grades 7 and 8 and interested students from lower grades .

Who organize the Gauss Contest?

The gauss contest is organized by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC). The CEMC is housed within the faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. What is the Format of the contest?

– 25 multiple-choice questions

– 60 minutes

– 150 Total Marks

Questions are based on curriculum common to all provinces.
